Miss Kasie has been teaching children of all ages for the past 15 years.  She is beyond thrilled to be offering music classes, private lessons, and special events to children throughout the community. Her passion for music came at the very early age of 5 when she sang in her church children’s choir, and it has only continued to flourish over the years.  Kasie holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.  Prior to starting Music with Miss Kasie, she taught general music and choral music at Franklin Academy Charter School and was the founding director for a local children’s choir.   

 

Music with Miss Kasie came to life at our neighborhood playground during COVID.  It was a great way to safely offer music and to allow young children to interact with friends during such an unknown time.  It has been so much fun to watch this program evolve into something incredibly special!  Kasie’s goal is to not only create beautiful music together, but to encourage families to make lasting friendships and share beautiful experiences together!  Kasie’s music classes are always focused on keeping kids motivated, excited and moving.  Each week, her lessons are packed with ways to support young musical development while also having so much fun together! Kasie has been so grateful for the privilege of teaching so many families in our community and she is excited and hopeful for its future impact.
